This 1962 Airstream Trade Wind is a 24’ single-axle aluminum travel trailer that was acquired approximately eight years ago by the seller, who then commissioned a subsequent refurbishment. Work included changing the layout of the interior and installing replacement wiring, plumbing, floors, and fixtures. The exterior is finished in polished aluminum, and additional features include air conditioning, a fold-out couch, wood floors, painted cabinets, a bathroom with a toilet and standing shower, and a kitchenette with a mini refrigerator, three-burner stovetop, microwave, and sink.
The trailer measures 24’ long and features riveted polished aluminum body panels, dual roof-mounted vents, and an external electrical outlet.
Replacement black-painted 15” steel wheels feature chrome hubcaps and are mounted with Duro tires. The trailer features dual front-mounted propane cylinders.
The interior was stripped during the refurbishment, fitted with replacement plumbing and wiring, and repainted white. Wood-look flooring was also installed, and the forward cabin includes a wall-mounted television, a Whynter air conditioner, and a red fabric-upholstered couch and galley-style seating area that both convert into beds.
The kitchenette includes a three-burner stovetop, a stainless-steel sink, glass-door mini refrigerator, and a microwave.
The bathroom features a standing shower, a toilet, and a white countertop with a sink.
