This 1949 Spartan Royal Mansion is a 33′ double-axle travel trailer that was acquired by the seller out of South Carolina in 2016. Subsequent work is said to have included polishing the body panels and replacing the refrigerator, bedroom wall panels, and electrical panel as well as fitting an electric tongue jack, an Advent air conditioner, a Bosch water heater, and a self-locking coupler. The exterior is finished in polished aluminum and has entry doors on both sides. Additional features include a kitchenette with a dual-basin sink and a refrigerator, a bathroom with a standing shower, a sofa bed, a dining table, and birch wood cabinets and interior paneling.

Created in 1928, the Spartan Aircraft Company pivoted to manufacturing travel trailers in 1945 following the end of World War II. This example features riveted-aluminum body panels that are said to have been polished in 2017. Other features include a right-side door to the living area, a left-side door to the bedroom, porthole windows in the doors, deployable entry steps, screened side windows, and three forward windows. Additional work under current ownership reportedly included replacement of the front windows and gaskets as well as the external light wiring and the screen doors.

Tandem axles feature brakes and 15″ steel wheels wearing polished covers that are mounted with Roadguider tires said to have been fitted under current ownership. The wheel bearings were repacked with grease in 2019.

The interior is accented with birch wood wall and ceiling panels along with ¾” hickory flooring. Additional features include an Advent air conditioner with a heating strip as well as a replacement electrical panel, curtains, a click-clack sofa bed, and a dining table with two chairs.

The kitchenette has a replacement Magic Chef refrigerator, a dual-basin sink, and cupboard storage. The propane-powered four-burner Dixie stove is disconnected but has been tested, according to the seller.

The bedroom at the rear of the trailer features replacement wall panels and a queen-size mattress along with vented side windows, an exterior door, and wall sconces. Storage compartments are built into the side walls.

The bathroom offers a standing shower along with a sink and a replacement ceramic toilet. A Bosch water heater has been fitted by the seller. The trailer does not have holding tanks and is considered a park model. Unused sewer pipes and a white freshwater hose are included in the sale.

An electric tongue jack and a self-locking 2 ⁵/₁₆” coupler were added during current ownership. The trailer’s approximate weight is 5,200 pounds.
